This recipe was taken from a Facebook account, Africa…. this is why I live here. One of their albums called Recipes for disaster has dozens of South African recipes. Worth a look if you like to try new recipes.
It is an easy recipe and I can vouch for the biscuits taste.

340g marg /butter (room temp but not too warm )
115 g custard powder
340g cake flour
115 g icing sugar
Mix all the above together.
Roll into balls – about half a heaped teaspoon full of dough.( if mixture too soft refrigerate for a while )
Bake at 175deg C for 7-10 min
3 cups sifted icing sugar
Once biscuits are cooled…join two together with generous smear of icing.
